1 WEEK 4 DAYS OLD

I’m still very much living in a newborn bubble here. When I was pregnant I thought that because Frankie was my second child, I would very much just ‘get on with it’ after she was born, getting straight back into our routine and start working again. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

I’ve been living in yoga pants ever since I left the hospital. I completely forgot how draining breastfeeding is. As soon as she starts feeding I can feel my eyes closing and I have to fight to stay awake.

As hard as this all is, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Frankie is such an amazing little baby. She is feeding so well, sleeping nicely and doesn’t cry too often.

This little girl has turned our world upside down and we couldn’t be more thankful.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

I was woken up my Cohen and Grey with a lovely breakfast and gifts! Frankie was still sleeping so it was just the three of us this morning.
They made us my favourite breakfast, pancakes with berries and yoghurt!
I got two adorable cards from the kids and Cohen got me a card too.
I’m a so blessed to have such an amazing family!

My Mother’s day gift was a pair of shoes from Home Grown that I’ve wanted for a while but never bought because I was pregnant. I used to wear heels/wedges all the time but have been living in mom shoes for months now.
They are incredibly comfortable and it is nice being a little taller again!

I hope all of you had an amazing Mother’s Day and were all treated like the queens you are!
